Cancellation

Please be advised that cancellations made up to 2 days after placing an order will be processed without a penalty. Cancellations made 3 days after the order was placed will be subject to no refunds/deposit refunds or a part charge on your order.

Returns and Refunds

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for all custom orders.

● Once you or a designated representative has collected your order and signed for it, it is considered “accepted”. We will ensure that everything meets your specifications, including the design and spelling before you sign.

● Refund requests related to decorating style, writing, colour shade, or general design will not be accommodated after the cake has been accepted. In certain cases, adjustments to the design may be possible, but additional charges may apply if the cake has already been accepted.

● Upon leaving our shop, all products become the responsibility of the customer. We cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs during transportation, setup, or thereafter. You will receive instructions on how to handle, transport, and store your cake upon pickup. Please be aware that cakes are delicate and may sustain damage if not handled properly, such as cracks, smudges, or melting icing/fondant. Refunds are issued per the policies outlined below.

● Refund requests due to cake flavour and texture will not be honoured in full after the cake has been accepted.

● However, you may qualify for partial shop credit if you return the product and the flavour or texture does not meet our standards. It is important to return the cake to us promptly, ideally within 24 hours of pickup, and to promptly notify us of any issues by phone or email. The determination of quality is solely at the discretion of Purdies.

● Please note that refunds cannot be provided for cakes that have been fully consumed. *Shop credit percentages are based on factors such as the timing of the return, the amount consumed, and our assessment of quality. Store credits will not be issued to customers who fail to contact us within 48 hours.
